Rachel Books London approached me to ask if I would be interested in giving a spotlight for Untethered by Bryce Hayden, and while I wasn’t able to fit another review into my December schedule, I happily agreed to give this book a shout out. I’m telling you about it today, December 16th, so you can get excited right before publication. This book launches tomorrow!

Excerpt
He thought of his future. It surely included the necessary abandonment of a career in its earliest flourish. Unemployed, all material possessions would slip from his grasp, all social obligations evaporate. He pictured himself returning keys, bidding farewell to everyone he had ever known.
This would be followed by a long and hirsute hermitage – long enough for everyone to have forgotten Errol Martin and all he stood for. And how long would that be? Five years? That seemed too long. One year might be enough; people’s memories were short.
