G= Geography, H= History
G- I: is for the thousands of islands that are all over Canada, where many people either make as their homes, or vacation place.

My Review
My Review: 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was granted complimentary access to Canada’s Kiddie Geography and History in ABC’s by Marena Woodsit as part of my participation in a blog tour for this title with Goddess Fish Promotions. Thank you to all involved in affording me this opportunity! My thoughts are my own and my review is honest.
Canada’s Kiddie Geography and History in ABC’s is a beautifully illustrated middle grade non-fiction book featuring one interesting Canadian geography location or feature and a historical fact for each letter of the alphabet. It’s fun, it’s informative, and I really think it will capture the attention and curiosity of kids in the intended demographic. I studied Canadian history at the undergraduate level, so this is a pet topic of mine, and I love to see a good resource like this making our history accessible to kids.
The illustrations, as already mentioned, are beautiful! Really, they’re so detailed, so vibrant, and very relevant to the geography and/or history tidbit for the letter on the opposite page. Thinking back to the sort of middle grade kid I was, between the interesting knowledge and the gorgeous pictures, some kids are going to look at this book for hours.
About the Author
Ms. Woodsit, a retired teacher, has been writing for fun for years and is now publishing children’s books. During her time as a teacher she felt students needed more basic facts about their country, such as learning we had a queen, that the capital of our provinces and territories weren’t known and what some of our natural resources and wonders were. She has also helped with composing lyrics to a number of songs with her songwriting and performing friends. She loves travelling, swimming and taking care of her animals.
