The Black Eyed Witch and Foreboding are YA High Fantasy novels by new author Rowan Staeffler, and I must say they sound quite interesting! If I had signed on to Silver Dagger sooner and had more reading time, this would have been one of the tours I volunteered to review for and requested both books! As they travel across the kingdom recruiting others to their cause, they must defeat terrifying creatures the king has sent after them and battle the horrifying monsters that plague the land. While I enjoy a good story and fantasy as such, like reading the Throne of Glass series, I was tired of reading about magic for pretty much every fantasy trope there is. I want to take a different take with mine that does not involve magic and typical creatures such as dwarfs and elves.
